Job description

Unit Description: UVMMC has the only interventional Cath Lab in the state, managing patients throughout northern and central VT and upper NY State. We offer state-of-the-art diagnostic, interventional, peripheral, and structural heart procedures. Our lab is RN-only, with monitor, circulator, and scrub roles for all staff. We utilize multiple modalities including IVUS, OCT, FFR, Impella, and IABP for cardiovascular and peripheral disease treatments. Our structural heart program includes PFO/ASD closure, TAVR, and Mitral Clip. Experience in Cardiology or critical care is preferred.

On-call: RNs work 8- or 10-hour shifts Mon-Fri from 7:00 to 17:30, with approximately 5 shifts of call per month, including a weekend every 5 weeks.

Requirements:

• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont is required.
• The University of Vermont Health Network is moving toward an all BSN workforce. All external candidates hired into, or current employees promoted to, an RN position will be required to obtain their BSN as outlined in their offer letter.
• Relevant experience in the specific clinical area is preferred; requirements vary by unit.
