Job summary

McLaren Health in Lansing, MI is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab on the Day shift. You will deliver nursing care within the unit scope of practice, following hospital policies and standards of care.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, and teaching, as well as supervision of ancillary staff. A minimum of one year in Cardiac Cath Lab, ICU, or ED is required; Michigan RN license, BLS, and ACLS within 6 months are required.

Qualifications

• At least one year of nursing experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, ICU, or ED.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification as Healthcare Provider is required.
• Current Michigan RN license required.

• Plans and implements the patient’s plan of care/standard of care and provides patient teaching using the plan of care/standard of care.

Required

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year or more experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, ICU, or ED.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification as Healthcare Provider.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months.

Preferred

• One year of professional nursing experience.
• One year experience working with intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABPs)
