Job summary

Care Initiatives is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for part-time shifts (6AM-2PM or 2PM-10PM) across its Iowa facilities. You’ll provide direct nursing care, support unit operations, administer meds, monitor residents, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safety and quality in a skilled-nursing setting.

Ideal candidates hold an active Iowa RN license, CPR certification, and a commitment to compassionate, compliant care.

Qualifications

• RN license valid in Iowa or ability to activate.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment.
• Support daily clinical operations on the unit and ensure resident safety.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
• Collaborate with CNA, LPN, provider and other team members to promote high-quality care.
