Job summary

Care Initiatives is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver direct nursing care in a skilled nursing setting across our Iowa communities. Evening shifts are available from 2PM to 10PM with options for full-time or part-time schedules.

You will administer medications, monitor residents, and collaborate with a diverse care team while documenting care and upholding infection control and regulatory standards. An Iowa RN license and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing valid in Iowa.
• Current, valid CPR certification.
• Knowledge of federal/state long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment.
• Support daily clinical operations on the unit, ensuring quality care and resident safety.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
• Collaborate with CNA, LPN, provider, and interdisciplinary team members for high-quality care.
• Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs.
• Document care accurately to meet clinical, regulatory, and facility standards.
• Follow infection control, safety, and compliance protocols at all times.
