Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a Registered Nurse in New Jersey to provide direct patient care within a multidisciplinary team. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for complex patient populations, with emphasis on evidence-based practices and patient safety.

Required are NJ RN licensure and BLS certification; BSN in progress or completion within three years of hire is preferred. The role supports ongoing professional growth and teamwork across the unit.

Qualifications

• BSN in progress or willingness to obtain within 3 years of hire.
• Minimum 6 months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Nurse Residency program.
• Ability to learn quickly, strong teamwork, and commitment to ongoing education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care per current policies and evidence-based standards.
• Collect data, assess patient health, and recognize changes in status.
• Develop and coordinate plans of care with the care team.
• Educate patients and families and document care activities accurately.
• Support safe transitions and discharge planning with the care team.
