Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within an interdisciplinary team. This role emphasizes expanding knowledge and skills while coordinating care for a diverse patient population.

Qualifications include an active NJ RN license, BSN in progress or commitment to obtain within 3 years, and completion of BLS/CPR within 60 days. Hospital experience or Nurse Residency participation is preferred.

Qualifications

• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License is required.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire.
• Six (6) or more months of relevant nursing experience OR active participant with Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.
• BLS/CPR certification by the American Heart Association is required within 60 days of hire.
• The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs, with a strong sense of accountability and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provides effective direct care as part of the interdisciplinary team to a variety of complex patients and directs/oversees care provided by other caregivers through delegation, validation, evaluation, and coordination.
• Coordinates patient care/unit activities among nursing peers, physicians, and support services to ensure high-quality care.
