Job summary

CoxHealth Branson is seeking a Flex Nurse to deliver patient-centered care across units. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in line with standards while supporting families and documentation requirements.

Responsibilities include administering medications, coordinating care with physicians, and maintaining high safety and quality standards in a dynamic hospital setting. A Missouri RN license and ACLS/BLS within 90 days are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Missouri RN license active.
• BLS and ACLS must be obtained within 90 days.
• PALS must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Experience: one year critical care or ER OR two years medical/surgical.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, evaluate and implement patient care in accordance with accepted standards of practice and organizational policy.
• Administer medications and treatments and provide patient/family education.
• Documentation and ensuring quality and safety in care delivery.
• Flex Nurse assignments across Branson Hospital with varying schedules and units.

Flex nurse duties include assessing, planning, evaluating and implementing patient care in accordance with accepted standards of practice and organizational policy, administering medications and treatments, performing documentation and providing education to patients and families. Flex Nurses are assigned throughout the Branson Hospital and have varying schedules and unit assignments. The Flex Nurse maintains a wide array of medical care knowledge in order to care for a diverse group of patients.

Education

• Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Experience

• Required: one (1) year critical care or emergency room experience OR two (2) years medical/surgical experience
