CoxHealth is seeking a Flex Nurse for Branson Hospital in Branson, MO. The role involves night shift duties with flexible unit assignments across the Branson Hospital campus. Nurses assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while documenting and educating patients and families.

Required: RN license in Missouri, BLS/ACLS within 90 days, PALS within one year. Education includes an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience: 1 year CCU/ER or 2 years med-surg.

Job Description

Flex nurse duties include assessing, planning, evaluating and implementing patient care in accordance with accepted standards of practice and organizational policy, administering medications and treatments, performing documentation and providing education to patients and families. Flex Nurses are assigned throughout theBranson Hospitaland have varying schedules and unit assignments. The Flex Nurse maintains a wide array of medical care knowledge in order to care for a diverse group of patients.

Education

• Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Experience

• Required: one (1) year critical care or emergency room experience OR two (2) years medical/surgical experience
