Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of RN experience.

• Assists in orientation and mentoring of others.
• Performs analytical and decision-making functions with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrates knowledge of MHMC policies and procedures incl. safety.

Responsibilities

• Documents initial and ongoing patient assessment in a complete, concise, and timely manner.
• Develops and modifies an effective plan of care including discharge planning.
• Delivers care appropriate to the age of the patient served.
• Initiates and coordinates patient teaching according to needs.
• Coordinates patient care using interdisciplinary approach.
• Evaluates patient responses to interventions per MHMC policies.
• Supervises and mentors other patient caregivers on the unit.
• Administers medication and treatments per aseptic technique and policy.
