Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within a multidisciplinary team and oversee care delivery. A BSN in progress is preferred, with NJ RN licensure and current BLS/CPR certification required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an associate degree in nursing or diploma in nursing.
• BSN in progress or within 3 years of hire where applicable.
• Six months of nursing experience or participation in Nurse Residency Program.
• Ability to learn quickly, teamwork, and focus on patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care per policies and standards.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate care among nursing staff and physicians.
• Provide or coordinate patient/family education as needed.
• Maintain continuous documentation of assessments, plans and interventions.
