Job summary

Progeny HR Solutions LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Neurology Telemetry Unit on a full-time night shift in Florida. The role requires completion of an accredited RN program and an active Florida RN license (or Compact).

BSN preferred, with at least 2 years in Telemetry or Cardiac units. Responsibilities include observation, assessment, planning, interventions, and evaluation of patient care, plus administering medications and treatments as prescribed.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited RN program.
• RN license in the State of Florida, COMPACT nursing state, or ability to obtain one.
• BSN is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience working in Telemetry or Cardiac Units in an acute care hospital as an RN.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NIHSS certification within the first 30 days of work.

Responsibilities

• Observe, assess, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation of care; health teaching and counseling; promotion of wellness and prevention.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed or authorized by a licensed practitioner.
• 12-hour shifts.
