Job summary

Los Robles Regional Medical Center in Thousand Oaks, CA, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab as a PRN role to ensure patient care and safety during invasive cardiac procedures.

You will perform physiologic recording, scrubbing, and circulation in the cath lab and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, providing nursing interventions as needed. CA RN license, ACLS and BCLS are required, with CCRN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current CA Nursing License
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current BCLS certification required
• CCRN preferred
• Successful completion of cardiac dysrhythmia course
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
• AA Degree
• B.S.N or B.A. preferred
• 1 - 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab/CCU or interventional nursing

Responsibilities

• Perform physiologic recording, scrubbing and circulation within the catheterization laboratory
• Monitor, assess and provide nursing intervention before, during and after invasive cardiac procedures

• You will perform all functions related to physiologic recording, scrubbing, and circulation within the catheterization laboratory

• You will use appropriate knowledge and skills to monitor, assess, and provide nursing intervention to patients prior to, during and after invasive cardiac procedures

What qualifications you will need:

• Current CA Nursing License

• Current ACLS certification required

• Current BCLS certification required

• CCRN preferred

• Successful completion of cardiac dysrhythmia course

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required

• AA Degree

• B.S.N or B.A. preferred

• 1 - 2 years of full-time equivalent or more prior experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab, Critical Care experience, and or similar nursing experience in interventional procedures
