Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations, addressing psychosocial, physical, and general care aspects related to the surgical environment.
• Communicates with physicians about patient conditions.
• Assists with equipment and inventory maintenance.
• Assesses procedure room or equipment functioning and readiness.
• Obtains supplies and ensures the needs of the Cardiovascular Laboratory team are met.
• Monitors physiologic and hemodynamic data during procedures.
• Continuously monitors and records patient conditions in the Cardiovascular lab.
• Participates in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Active RN license required.
• Current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certification required, maintained upon hire.
• At least 1 year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care area required.
