Lubbock Heart & Surgical Hospital in Lubbock, TX is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. You will provide patient-centered care in a fast-paced, cardiac-focused environment, with emphasis on safety, education, and teamwork.

This PRN role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement. Requires TX RN license, BSN preferred, ACLS/BCLS, and 2–5 years in cardiac care or PACU, with the ability to work across adolescent to geriatric populations.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Currently licensed in the state of Texas.
• BSN preferred.
• BCLS and ACLS required.
• 2-5 years’ experience in cardiac care setting.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in PACU.

Aufgaben

• Assess patient needs across adolescent, adult, and geriatric acute care units.
• Gathers data and develops a nursing plan of care with measurable goals.
• Plans discharge and follow-up suitable for patient and family.
• Assist in staffing planning and department committees as needed.
• Administer medications safely in acute care units.
• Educate patients and families; provide care in emergency situations.
• Document care and maintain accurate medical records.
• Operate equipment listed in unit checklists and maintain safety.
