Job summary

Lubbock Heart & Surgical Hospital, part of Surgery Partners, Inc., is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Lubbock Heart team in a full-time capacity. You will assess, plan, and provide comprehensive nursing care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in acute care, with emphasis on cardiac services.

Responsibilities include developing care plans, administering medications, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Texas licensure required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess the nursing needs of adolescent, adult and geriatric acute care patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with measurable goals.
• Administer medications safely in acute care units.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and procedures.
• Communicate with healthcare team and document care accurately.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and participate in committees as needed.
