Job summary

Grand Lake Health System is seeking a part-time nurse for obstetric care, working 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with every third weekend and holiday rotation. The role involves delivering comprehensive care across antepartum to gynecologic populations and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Ohio nursing licensure, and prior OB experience. On-call willingness and staffing coverage during census fluctuations are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Ohio.
• Previous OB experience is required.

• Deliver patient care to antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, newborn, and gynecologic patients using the nursing process.
• Direct and guide patient teaching and activities of Nursing Ancillary Personnel.
• Lead and participate in patient teaching.
• Place the patient at the center of care practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to provide quality care and achieve outcomes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Directs and guides patient teaching and activities of Nursing Ancillary Personnel.
• Assumes a lead role in patient teaching.
• Places the patient at the center of care practices.
• Collaborates and interacts positively with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality care and achieve desired outcomes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Must have willingness to be placed on call and to support staffing during census fluctuations.

Education/Certifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Ohio.

Experience

• Previous OB experience is required.
