Job summary

Grand Lake Health System in St. Marys, OH seeks an Advanced Care Nurse for the Comprehensive Care Unit. This on-site, part-time role involves night shifts (7 p.m.–7 a.m.), 48 hours per pay, and every 3rd weekend/holiday rotation, to provide essential nursing care.

You will deliver care through the Nursing Process, educate patients, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to achieve outcomes. Flexibility to cover other units may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed RN.
• Previous experience in nursing is preferred but not required.

Duties and Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the Nursing Process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Directs and guides patient teaching and activities of Nursing Ancillary Personnel.
• Assumes a lead role in patient teaching.
• Places the patient at the center of care practices.
• Collaborates and interacts positively with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality care and achieve desired outcomes.
• May be required to work other patient care units or shifts according to the distribution of staff, patients, and/or patient acuity.

Requirements

Education/Certifications
