Palms Behavioral Health in Harlingen, Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts. You will provide nursing care, supervise care by LPNs/CNAs, and develop/assess individual care plans for patients in a behavioral health setting.

This onsite role requires strong documentation, medication administration, and collaboration with the treatment team. The position emphasizes accurate medication management, patient safety, and communication with physicians and staff to ensure optimal

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved/accredited school of nursing.
• One or more years' nursing experience within clinical area of service provided by facility preferred.
• Experience in behavioral health/psychiatric/addiction recovery environment preferred.
• Knowledge of and experience with psychotropic medications and medication administration procedures.

Responsabilités

• Assess and coordinate care by assessing physical and behavioral health needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and document medical records.
• Administer medications per orders using at least two patient identifiers and document appropriately.
• Transcribe and review provider orders to ensure accuracy and policy compliance.
• Provide hand-off reports to oncoming staff and participate in unit activities and team rounds.
