Palms Behavioral Health in Harlingen, Texas is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for night shift to deliver comprehensive nursing care, supervise LPNs and CNAs, and develop individual care plans. You will assess patients, implement treatment plans, monitor progress, and ensure safety on the unit.

Responsibilities include accurate medication administration with two patient identifiers, documenting care, coordinating hand-offs, and communicating changes to physicians and the treatment team.

Competenze

• Graduation from an approved/accredited school of nursing.
• RN license valid in Texas or compact state.
• Experience in behavioral health/psychiatric settings preferred.
• CPR and de-escalation certification required.

Mansioni

• Provides and coordinates care by assessing physical and behavioral health needs and developing care plans.
• Administers medications with two patient identifiers and documents appropriately.
• Notifies providers of significant changes in patient status and coordinates hand-offs.
• Maintains accurate medical records and educates patients and families.
• Confers with the treatment team regarding patient care on an ongoing basis.
