Hackensack Meridian Health in Belle Mead, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse for Behavioral Health to provide direct care to a designated patient population. You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team, expanding knowledge and coordinating care to improve patient outcomes.

The role requires an active NJ RN license, an ASN or diploma, and a commitment to pursuing a BSN within three years. Night shift, full-time schedule, and bar-scanning medication administration are included.

Qualifications

• Associate in Nursing (ASN) or Nursing Diploma required.
• BSN in progress or willingness to obtain within 3 years of hire.
• Six months of nursing experience or active Nurse Residency participation.
• NJ RN license required.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 60 days of starting.

Responsabilités

• Collect comprehensive data on the patient's health.
• Perform age- and disease-specific assessments.
• Identify changes in clinical status and adjust care plan accordingly.
• Develop and implement a plan of care to reach outcomes.
• Coordinate and communicate the plan of care with the team and family.

What You'll Do

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health.
• Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently.
• Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
• Develop a plan of care with strategies and interventions to attain expected outcomes.
• Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care.
• Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar-scanning technology.
• Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes.

Requirements

• Education:
  • Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required
  • BSN in progress or willingness to acquire within three years of hire
• Experience:
  • Six months of relevant nursing experience or active participation in the Nurse Residency Program
• Licenses & Certifications:
  • NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License required
  • AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position
