Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health in Belle Mead, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse for Behavioral Health to provide direct care to a designated patient population. You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team, expanding knowledge and coordinating care to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Associate in Nursing (ASN) or Nursing Diploma required.
BSN in progress or willingness to obtain within 3 years of hire.
Six months of nursing experience or active Nurse Residency participation.
NJ RN license required.
AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 60 days of starting.

Responsibilities

Collect comprehensive data on the patient's health.
Perform age- and disease-specific assessments.
Identify changes in clinical status and adjust care plan accordingly.
Develop and implement a plan of care to reach outcomes.
Coordinate and communicate the plan of care with the team and family.
Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and health professionals.
Administer medications using bar-scanning technology.
Evaluate progress toward outcomes.
Identify ethical issues in practice.
Adhere to organizational standards and care competencies.
