Endeavor Health in Evanston is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to provide safe and compassionate care on a designated unit. Flexible start times from 5 a.m. to noon with 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, and there may be travel to other Endeavor Hospitals as needed.
Candidates should be a graduate of a state approved school of nursing, have an IL RN license, and possess CPR/BLS certification. ACLS/PALS and CPAN/CAPA are preferred. Benefits include premium pay and growth opportunities.
$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.
Position: Registered Nurse
Location: Evanston (ability to travel other Endeavor Hospitals)
Part time (32 hr/wk)
Hours: Flexible start time from 5 a to Noon with 8 hr shifts M-F
Independently provides safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations on a specific unit. Utilizes the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care. Includes patient and family in the plan of care as appropriate. Maintains regulatory compliance in individual practice. Assumes the responsibility, accountability, and authority for outcomes of nursing care and to make decisions based on their therapeutic relationship with the patient. Guides and directs assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care. Communicates and collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
Education:
Graduate of a state approved school of nursing required. BSN preferred.
License/Certification/Experience:
IL RN License
CPR BLS issued by the American Heart Association
ACLS and PALS by the American Heart Association preferred
CPAN/CAPA preferred
