Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks a Registered Nurse for our Skokie location. Full-time days with on-call requirements; occasional travel to Evanston, Glenbrook and Highland Park Hospitals. The position starts with a base hourly rate and includes opportunities for shift and on-call incentives.

Requires graduation from a state-approved nursing program, IL RN license, CPR/BLS, and 6 months of RN experience preferred. A BSN is preferred, and strong computer skills are expected for patient documentation and

Responsibilities

• Independently provides safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations on a specific unit.
• Utilizes the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Guides and directs assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Communicates and collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Registered Nurse
• Location: Skokie (ability to travel to Evanston, Glenbrook and Highland Park Hospitals)
• Full time
• Hours:Availability to start between am and 11:30am Mon - Fri with call requirements (weeknights and weekends included)

What you will do:

Independently provides safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations on a specific unit. Maintains regulatory compliance in individual practice. Assumes the responsibility, accountability, and authority for outcomes of nursing care and to make decisions based on their therapeutic relationship with the patient. Guides and directs assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care. Communicates and collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.

What you will need:

• Education:
  • Graduate of a state approved school of nursing required. BSN preferred.
• License/Certification:
  • IL RN License
  • CPR BLS issued by the American Heart Association
• Experience:
  • 6 mths RN experience in comparable role - Preferred
