Job summary

Theuniversityunion in Manchester, IA is seeking a Part Time Registered Nurse to support ASC and PACU clinical functions, with 24 hours per week and 8-hour shifts. Base pay ranges from $35.43 to $47.25 per hour, with flexible start times and call requirements.

This role requires Iowa RN license, 2+ years surgical/ICU experience, BLS and ACLS, PALS for PACU, and mandated reporter training. The position includes health benefits, retirement, on-site pharmacy, tuition reimbursement, and wellness

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse currently licensed to practice in Iowa.
• 2+ years of experience in surgical and/or intensive care nursing preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• PACU nurses will be certified in PALS.
• Child and Dependent Adult Mandatory Reporter Training required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for the surgical patients in ASC and PACU per hospital and departmental standards and policies.
• Perform clinical functions of the ASC and PACU areas and support patient care during shifts.

Description

Schedule: Part Time, 24 hours per week, 8 hour shifts with flexible schedules from 0500-0730 start times and late day coverage. Days of the week will vary depending on the surgery schedule and staff needs. 1 day of call per week and call every 6th weekend. 1 holiday per year.

This position is responsible for clinical functions of the ASC and PACU areas and provides care for the surgical patients in accordance with hospital and departmental standards and policies.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse currently licensed to practice in state of Iowa
• Two (2) or more years of experience in surgical and/or intensive care nursing preferred
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PACU nurses will be certified in pediatric advanced life support (PALS)
• Child and Dependent Adult Mandatory Reporter Training required
