Job summary

Lifepoint Health® in Ottumwa, Iowa is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the PACU department. The position requires caring for patients and developing nursing care plans under the supervision of the director.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program required with a current unencumbered Registered Nurse License in Iowa or from a Compact State.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
• Recent RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Caring for patients and development of nursing plan of care.
• Performing assigned procedures within the scope of practice.

Job Type: Full-Time Day Shift 0700 or 0730 -1800 | 4-10 hour Shifts and weekend rotation every 4 weeks

Commitment Bonus of $15,000 (2 years)

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse works under the supervision of the Director and is responsible for caring for the patient and the development of nursing plan of care. RN performs assigned procedures that are within the scope of practice as set forth by the Iowa State Board of Nursing.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program required with a current unencumbered Registered Nurse License in Iowa or from a Compact State.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Recent RN experience

Preferred Qualifications

• One (1) year Surgical or OR experience
