Job summary

Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center Endoscopy Department performs screening and therapeutic procedures, including ERCP and liver biopsy. The RN supports five procedure rooms and about 5,500 patient visits yearly, delivering care with compassion and efficiency.

The Registered Nurse applies the nursing process to plan and deliver patient care, aiming for excellence and ongoing improvements in operations and outcomes. Collaboration with physicians and teams ensures safety and quality.

Qualifications

• RN licensed by Oregon State Board required on start.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required on start.
• ACLS required on start.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process for assigned patients.
• Support and participate in endoscopy procedures and patient safety.

SalaryRange:$53.99 - $77.79

Shift Differentials:

• $2.50 extra for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm
• $10.00 extra for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am
• $2.50 extra for working weekends

Position Summary

With five procedure rooms, the Endoscopy Department at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center (ARRMC) sees an average of 5,500 patients a year. In addition to screening endoscopy and colonoscopy, we perform many therapeutic procedures such as: endoscopic cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), Esophageal Motility Studies, EBUS, bronchoscopy, and liver biopsy.

A Registered Nurse is a professional caregiver responsible and accountable for his/her practice for assigned patient(s). Utilizing the nursing process, the RN delivers superb health care in a compassionate manner, is committed to excellence and empowered to streamline and improve operations.

Position Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience (Critical Care, PACU, OR, or procedural area) is required
• Minimum 2 years of endoscopy experience is preferred

Licensure/Certification

• RN: Registered Nurse by Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required upon start
• BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start
• ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support required upon start

Preferred Licensure/Certification

• CAPA: Certified Ambulatory Peri Anesthesia Nurse
• CGRN: Certified Gastroenterology Registered Nurse
• CSRN: Certified Sedation Registered Nurse
