Job summary

Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford, OR is seeking a Pre-Op Clinic RN to educate patients before surgery and coordinate with the surgical team. Responsibilities include chart review, history intake, physical assessment and teaching to prepare patients for procedures.

Qualifications

• RN license in Oregon required upon start

SalaryRange:$53.99 - $77.79

Shift Differentials:

• $2.50extra for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm
• $10.00 extra for working between 11:00pm - 7:00am
• $2.50 extra for working weekends

Position Information: Pre Operative Clinic is open Monday-Friday, no holidays or weekends.

Position Summary

OurPre-Op Clinic RNat Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center provides quality education to our patients prior to surgical procedures. Responsibilities include patient chart review, history intake, physical assessment, teaching and collaboration with surgical and subspecialty team to prepare patients for surgery/procedure. This position requires strong communication, critical thinking, organizational and multi-tasking skills in fast paced setting.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred

License/Certification

• RN: Registered Nurse licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required upon start
• BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start
• CNOR: Certified Perioperative Nurse is preferred
