Job summary

ClarkLindsey is seeking dedicated REGISTERED NURSES or LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSES to join our senior living community in Urbana, IL. This PRN role provides compassionate care, accurate assessments, medication administration, and collaboration with physicians to support residents’ well-being.

The nurse will develop and adjust care plans, monitor health, document thoroughly, and educate residents and families about health conditions and preventive measures.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois nursing license.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to work in a team and follow HIPAA rules.
• Willingness to float between departments after training.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate nurses (RN or LPN) to join our team. The nurse will play a vital role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to our residents while promoting their overall wellness and quality of life. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, a caring demeanor, and a commitment to teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including assessments, medication administration, and treatments.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Monitor residents’ health conditions and report changes to the appropriate medical professionals.
• Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
• Educate residents and their families about overall wellbeing, health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and community policies.
• Work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Benefits and Compensation

The pay for this position is $39.00 per hour for RN and $32.25 per hour for LPN. Bonuses equaling up to 2% of salary annually are available based on performance, generally in the spring and fall each year.

Differentials in the amount of $1.50 per hour are paid for any shift worked between the hours of 7:00pm and 7:00am. (CNA, RA, LPN, RN)

Job Requirements

Per the Illinois Department of Public Health, all team members must receive the annual influenza vaccine (exemption requests will be reviewed). We also encourage team members to get the latest COVID-19 vaccine.

• Must have an active Illinois nursing license.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English Language.
• Must abide by ClarkLindsey’s HIPAA privacy and security rules as described in the Employee handbook.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, and the general public.
• Stand-by shifts are required. This will be discussed during the interview process.
• After training, nurses may float between departments to optimize resident care needs.
