Job summary

The Valley Health System in Henderson, NV seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide safe, evidence-based care in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, uphold patient-centered care, and participate in our service-excellence program.

BSN preferred and Nevada RN license required with BLS; PALS or NRP as needed. One year FT or three years PT acute care experience preferred. Competitive benefits and professional development opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Experience: One-year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of Nevada. Current BLS Certification, Current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department. Other certification may be required by facility, specialty, or department.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision.
