Job summary

Centennial Hills Hospital, part of The Valley Health System, is seeking a registered nurse to provide safe, competent care and lead the healthcare team in a patient-centered environment. The role emphasizes service excellence and collaboration across departments.

Requirements include Nevada RN licensure, BLS, and department-specific PALS/NRP credentials with prior acute care experience. A BSN is preferred, and pre-employment assessments are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN preferred.
• One year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting preferred.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS Certification. Current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department. Other certification as may be required by facility.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
