Job summary

The Valley Health System’s Summerlin Hospital in the Las Vegas area is seeking a registered nurse to provide safe, competent care in a fast-paced environment with patient-centered focus and leadership support to the healthcare team.

Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, Nevada RN license, BLS, and ACLS/PALS/NRP as required by department. BSN preferred. One year acute care experience or completion of a specialty course within 6 months of hire; pre-employment assessments apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course/ or equivalent within 6 months of hire.
• One-year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS Certification. ACLS/PALS/NRP as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies and standards.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees under supervision and demonstrate Service Excellence.
