Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse to provide and coordinate evidence-based patient care across the continuum, from assessment through evaluation. The role emphasizes collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes and efficiency.

The nurse will adhere to the ANA standards and Code of Ethics while mentoring colleagues and supporting teaching initiatives within the unit.

Qualifications

• Requires ASN; BSN preferred.
• Requires active RN license in Indiana or NLC.
• Requires graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per AHA.
• Additional Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate competent, evidence-based care along the care continuum (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Participate in decision-making, teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to advance the patient plan of care.
• Adhere to the ANA Scope and Standards of Professional Nursing and the Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements.
