Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license with BLS certification.
• 3 years RN experience preferred.
• Proficient with EMR (Centricity) and clinical equipment.
• Strong communication and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to determine medical problems and document in EMR.
• Follow up on physician orders and lab requests; inform patient of results and further treatment.
• Document nursing history and physical assessments in EMR; initiate education plan.
• Abstract patient records via EMR and use Centricity to support nursing functions.
• Respond to emergencies and manage crash cart and defibrillator.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
