Powers Health is recruiting a Registered Nurse for 4 South Renal at Community Hospital in Munster, IN. This 0.9 FTE position covers Day/Eve shifts (7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.) on a 72-hour biweekly schedule, with every third weekend and holiday requirement.

The role emphasizes thorough nursing care, documentation, and adherence to policy, with bonus eligibility and opportunities in a supportive Med Surg environment. 4 South Renal handles diverse renal and medical cases.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active Indiana nursing license or licensure by Indiana Health Professions Bureau.
• BSN preferred but not required.
• ACLS certification as required in specialty areas (Critical Care).
• CPR certification current and maintained.

Responsabilidades

• Implement, direct, communicate and document the nursing process.
• Provide a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Practice according to standards of care, Nurse Practice Act, and Powers Health policies; support mission and philosophy.

Registered Nurse Job, 12 Hours Days Shift (7a-7:30p), Med Surg 4 South Renal

Powers Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for 4 South Renal to work days at Community Hospital in Munster, IN.

4 South Renal performs therapeutic treatments and cares for patients with various diseases, diagnosis, or conditions which include but are not limited to: Diabetes, renal failure, pneumonia, electrolyte imbalance, CVA, cardiovascular-ASHD, CHF, Hypertension, COPD, Fever, Dehydration, Gastrointestinal conditions, Wound infection, and general surgical cases.

Registered Nurse Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for implementing, directing, communicating and documenting the nursing process.


• Provides a safe environment for patients, visitors and associates.


• Practices in accordance with current established standards of care, the Nurse Practice Act, the Powers Health policies and procedures, and supports the mission and philosophy ofPHby providing the highest quality care.


• Provides for the well-being of the community, services the needs of all people and demonstrates the values: dignity, compassionate care, community, quality and stewardship.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.


• Current professional licensure by the State of Indiana Health Professions Bureau.


• BSN preferred.


• Obtains and maintains current certification (ACLS) as required in specialty areas (Critical Care).


• Obtains and maintains current CPR.
