Job summary

McLaren Health Care's Port Huron facility is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver quality nursing care using the nursing process, collaborating with the healthcare team to uphold professional standards and patient/family centered care. You will assess needs, plan and implement care, and evaluate responses on the 4 South Cardiac Step Down unit.

Part-time, 48 hours per pay period, 7:00am–7:30pm; MI RN license and BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited Nursing program.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification (preferred).
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing program (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assesses the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of the patient.
• Plans and implements nursing care according to patient and family needs.
• Makes appropriate interventions based upon individual patient needs.
• Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions.
• Assumes personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment, and professional development.
