Job summary

McLaren Health Care in Port Huron, MI is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver quality nursing care on the 3 S Cardiac Step Down unit. You will apply the nursing process, collaborate with the team, and support patient/family centered care during evening shifts.

This part-time role offers 48 hours per pay period with 7:00pm–7:30am schedules, adherence to policy, ongoing professional development, and benefits including 403(b), health, dental, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Michigan RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of the patient.
• Plans and implements nursing care according to patient and family needs.
• Makes appropriate interventions based upon individual patient needs.
• Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions.
• Assumes personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment, and professional development.
