Job summary

The Vistas at Bettendorf in Bettendorf, IA is seeking licensed RNs for part-time and full-time 6p-6a shifts. You will lead nursing staff, maintain standards, and coordinate care for elderly residents.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate resident needs and develop nursing care plans, including rehab/restorative activities.
• Receive/give nursing reports during shift handoffs with the Charge Nurse.
• Arrange diagnostic and therapeutic services as ordered by the physician.

Active RN licensed in the State of Iowa who are caring, compassionate, professionals with a passion for taking care of the elderly to become a part of our team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership to nursing personnel assigned to your unit/shift
• Implement and maintain established nursing objectives and standards
• Professional communication with family members regarding the condition and progress of the resident, including in-person discussion and answering of telephone inquiries
• Evaluation of resident needs, conditions, and care, and assist in developing nursing care plans for individual residents, including rehabilitative and restorative activities and instruction in self-help
• Receive/give the nursing report to/from your Charge Nurse colleague upon reporting in and ending shift duty hours
• Request and arrange for diagnostic and therapeutic services for residents, as ordered by the physician and in accordance with our established procedures

Requirements/Qualifications:
