Job summary

Ephraim McDowell Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 1st shift in Kentucky. The role uses the nursing process and physician orders to plan, provide and direct patient care with a focus on safety and family-centered outcomes.

Education requires an accredited ADN program completion and a current KY RN license. BLS and ACLS certifications are required, with the rhythm course completed within the stated timeframe.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ADN nursing program.
• Current RN License in the state of Kentucky.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (within 3 months).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (within 1 year).
• Basic Rhythm Course (within 1 year).

Responsibilities

• Provide and direct nursing care using the nursing process and physician orders.
• Lead and participate in shared nursing leadership for positive patient outcomes.
• Ensure patient and family centered care with compassion, respect and safety.
• Serve as charge nurse when designated and collaborate with the healthcare team.
