Job summary

VCU Health in Richmond, Virginia is hiring Clinical Nurses at I–III level to provide direct patient care per medical orders within an integrated plan of care. The role delivers age-specific care, administers medications, and participates in education and unit-level leadership development.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible or compact state.
• BLS HCP certification or equivalent.
• Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred for higher levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, age-specific care per medical orders and plan of care.
• Safely administer prescribed medications and monitor for interactions.
• Educate patients and families; contribute to unit leadership activities.
• Work across shifts to meet patient needs and maintain quality care.
