Job summary

Virginia Commonwealth University Health Systems is seeking Clinical Nurse I–III to provide age-appropriate direct patient care, document medications, and participate in an integrated, multidisciplinary plan of care across shifts.

Successful candidates will hold Virginia RN licensure, have a nursing degree, and commit to ongoing professional development; a $2,000 sign-on bonus is available for offers accepted by October 31, 2026.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate Degree from an approved nursing program.
• All RNs without a Bachelor's degree must enroll in an RN to BSN program within two years of start date and complete within five years.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follows documented physician/licensed independent provider orders.
• Practices within Virginia nursing regulations and ANA Code of Ethics.
• Delivers and documents direct, age-specific care based on medical orders and plan of care.
• Organizes work and may delegate tasks to others as applicable.
