Job summary

Virginia Commonwealth University Health Systems is seeking Clinical Nurse I–III to deliver and document direct, age-specific care in a multidisciplinary plan of care in Virginia. The roles require current RN licensure in Virginia (or eligible/compact) and adherence to unit protocols.

Opportunities include leadership development and unit-level education for patient comfort and wellness. Clin I–III have varying experience requirements and shift rotations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate degree from an approved nursing program.
• Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible/compact state.
• Enrollment in an approved RN to BSN program within two years of start date and completion within five years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and document direct, age-specific care based on medical orders and a multidisciplinary plan of care.
• Safely administer prescribed medications and monitor for interactions.
• Provide direction, education, and leadership at the unit level as nurses advance in responsibility.
• Follow unit policies and professional nursing standards while delivering compassionate care.
