Job summary

Arcare is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver person-centred nursing care for residents in a supportive, values-driven environment. You will assess health, monitor vitals, administer medications, and collaborate with the care team to uphold clinical standards.

You’ll lead wound care, care planning, pain management, and emergency response, while documenting changes in eCase. The role emphasizes compassionate end-of-life support and maintaining a respectful, safe workplace.

• Current AHPRA Registration (essential).
• Sound knowledge of Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
• Adaptable, passionate, and eager to learn.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care including health assessments and monitoring vital signs.
• Manage wounds, develop and implement care plans.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care that promotes positive outcomes for residents, while adhering to Arcare’s values, policies, and professional clinical standards.

• Clinical Care: Deliver high-quality nursing care, including health assessments, monitoring vital signs, and medication management

• Wound Management: Assess, treat, and manage wounds while preventing infection
• Care Planning: Develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to residents’ needs
• Assessment & Documentation: Maintain accurate clinical records and document changes using eCase
• Pain Management: Identify and address pain concerns using appropriate strategies
• Emergency Response: Respond effectively to medical emergencies
• End-of-Life Care: Provide compassionate palliative and end-of-life support

What we’re looking for
