Job summary

Infinite Care is seeking an Assistant in Nursing to provide resident-centric care across AM, PM and Night shifts. You will work with nursing, hospitality and engagement teams to support residents and families in a safe, compassionate environment.

Ideal candidates will have 1 year in aged care, strong communication skills and a commitment to safety and quality of care.

Qualifications

• One year demonstrated working experience in the Aged Care sector as an Assistant in Nursing.

The Opportunity

Our Assistant in Nursing (AINs) are highly interactive supporting our elderly residents, their families, and colleagues 7 days a week across AM, PM and Nightshifts. This role based at (insert Facility location link) will see you working closely with the nursing, hospitality and resident engagement teams when performing your resident-centric care duties in a timely and compassionate manner surrounded by highly skilled and supportive senior carers and managers. About You

Ideally, you have worked in the Aged Care sector for at least 1 year and the ability to “think on your feet”, communicate effectively, build rapport, and maintain professional relationships with residents and co-workers alike. In addition, you will also

• Ideally one year demonstrated working experience in the Aged Care sector as an Assistant in Nursing

• Very positive teamwork attitude, a trusted co-worker, excellent time management (we are a shift driven workplace including handovers) and follow strict safety procedures at all times to maintain a high standard of workplace safety.
• Computer savvy including using emails, word and navigating inhouse training platforms.
• Excellent workplace safety awareness to avoid our residents tripping, falling or hurting themselves - you need to be their extra eyes and ears.
• Qualifications in Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) OR
• have completed the Diploma of Nursing with an aged care placement OR
• now a 2nd year nursing student with a placement.
• we do recognise other Cert III courses in related healthcare studies. Industry work placement will also be needed to meet compliance standards.
• Hold the NDIS Workers Screening Clearance as this is essential to work in the Aged Care sector. (*or willingness to obtain)
