Job summary

The Avenue at Wooster, a Progressive Quality Care Inc facility, is seeking Registered Nurses for full‑time and part‑time day or night shifts. We offer a 12‑hour shift pattern, a low nurse-to-resident ratio, and a supportive team focused on high-quality resident care in a post-hospital rehab and skilled nursing setting.

Join a facility with private suites and a welcoming, hotel-like environment, where nurses administer care, document treatments, and collaborate with the pharmacy and care team.

Responsibilities

• Assess daily and long-term needs of residents
• Medication administration and recording according to physician’s orders, facility policy and safe nursing practice
• Treatments and dressings and recording according to physicians’ orders, facility policy and safe nursing practice
• Completion of precise and professional charting according to policy
• Communication with residents and responsible parties regarding resident condition, treatment, appointments, etc.
• Communication with pharmacy to assure proper medications for each resident
• Coordination of all nursing functions of assigned unit/team
• Hands on care of residents as needed and other duties as assigned

The Avenue at Wooster is a Post-Hospital Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Care Facility that offers a distinctive environment not commonly found in skilled nursing facilities. From our hotel-like environment to our all private suites, the Avenue is committed to providing an excellent level of physical, medical, emotional and spiritual support in an environment of comfort and respect. Our facility provides some of the area’s highest level of rehabilitation, nursing and medical support to individuals needing post-hospital care and services.
