Job summary

Ascension Living in Wichita, KS, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct participant care, including acute triage, blood draws and wound care, as part of the Clinic team on the day shift.

You will participate in IDT plan of care development, attend care plan and family meetings, and may travel for care at PACE Clinic or Adult Day Center, with after-hours on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
• Diploma or degree from accredited nursing program.

• Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) plan of care and update changes as necessary.
• Attend Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) care plan meetings and Participant/Family meetings; may perform assessments in various settings including PACE Clinic and Adult Day Center.
• Develop and provide education to participants, caregivers, and associates; may require travel to participant's residence or facilities.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

Required Credential(s)

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
