Job summary

Galileo Health in Starbase, TX, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to own patient relationships and drive a collaborative care plan across our in-office clinic. This full-time role supports weekday hours 8am-4pm CT with occasional evenings until 8pm CT.

You will triage, educate patients, coordinate care, and assist with exams, phlebotomy, vaccines, and injections, collaborating with doctors to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with 2+ years experience in clinical triage.
• Pediatric and acute care or inpatient experience preferred.
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Triage and assess acutely ill patients in person or by phone, record vitals and histories.
• Educate patients on chronic disease management, medications, and lifestyle changes.
• Coordinate routine check-ups, cancer screenings, and referrals with prior authorizations.

About the Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) is an integral part of our care team, owning patient relationships and quarter backing a collaborative care plan that drives meaningful impact in our patients’ lives. We’re looking for a teammate who is an innate people person, loves helping others, and has a knack for tenacious problem solving.

This is an in office role, supporting our clinic in Starbase, TX. Our clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8am-4pm CT with occasional evenings until 8pm CT.

Here’s what you’ll do

• Triage & Assessment: Evaluate acutely ill patients in-person or via phone. Take vital signs, record health histories, and update Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Patient Education: Teach patients how to manage chronic conditions (like diabetes or high blood pressure). Explain medications, treatments, and lifestyle changes.
• Care Coordination: Review patient data to make sure routine check-ups, cancer screenings, and preventive tests are completed on time. Handle prior authorizations and coordinate referrals.
• Clinic Procedures: Assist doctors with exams and in-office procedures, perform phlebotomy, administer vaccines, and give injections.

We would love to hear from you if you have the following or equivalent experience

• Licensed RN with 2+ years experience doing clinical triage
• Pediatric and acute care or inpatient experience preferred
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a plus

Compensation

$39 per hour. This is a full-time role and is eligible for benefits.
