Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN) in Roanoke, VA to support IR procedures, monitor patients, administer moderate/conscious sedation, and assist with recovery.

The role requires ACLS, BLS, PALS, active RN license and at least 3 years of nursing experience, with ICU/ED background preferred. You will collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, participate in on-call rotations, and help educate patients.

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience.
• Critical care background preferred (ICU, ED, or similar high-acuity setting).
• Previous sedation or procedural nursing experience preferred.

Join a highly specialized Interventional Radiology team providing care to patients undergoing minimally invasive and neurointerventional procedures. The IR RN is responsible for patient assessment, procedural support, moderate/conscious sedation, and post-procedure recovery while working closely with physicians in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care for IR patients.
• Administer and monitor moderate/conscious sedation.
• Perform patient assessments and respond to emergencies or procedural complications.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on procedures and recovery expectations.
