Job summary

IR Centers is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Interventional Radiology for a full-time, day-shift role in a private outpatient setting. You will assess patients, develop and modify care plans for procedures with moderate sedation, and work with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include preparing rooms, obtaining consent, maintaining HIPAA standards, auditing records, and ensuring equipment readiness.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN license is required.
• BLS certification; ACLS certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and procedure rooms for radiology procedures in compliance with policies.
• Explain procedures to patients, address concerns, ensure confidentiality (HIPAA).
• Support quality patient care by implementing facility action plans and goals.
• Assist team with tasks requiring judgment and provide solutions.
• Maintain accurate, complete medical records and perform audits.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety; inspect equipment and manage supplies.
• Assist with hazardous waste disposal and environmental standards.
• Attend meetings, collaborate with physicians, address concerns.
• Support radiography policy development and regulatory surveys.
• Conduct pre-op and post-op follow-up calls.

IR Centers at Arizona Urology Specialists is a multidisciplinary private practice endovascular lab. We are leading minimally invasive procedures across the U.S. by providing interventional radiology services in an outpatient setting.

Job Type: Full time, Monday through Friday,Day shift

As a Registered Nurse (RN) Interventional Radiology, you will be responsible for the assessment of patients, including the development, evaluation, and modification of the plan of care for patients undergoing procedures with moderate sedation. You will provide care to patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and other healthcare team members, according to established standards. Patients served include all age groups.

Responsibilities :

• Prepares patients and procedure rooms for radiology procedures, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations


• Explains procedures to patients, addressing concerns, and ensuring patient confidentiality (HIPAA)


• Supports and drives quality patient care by implementing facility-specific action plans and goals


• Performs tasks with considerable judgment, providing assistance to team members and offering solutions


• Ensures medical records are accurate, complete, and compliant with regulations, performing regular audits


• Maintains the cleanliness and safety of the facility, inspecting equipment, recommending repairs, and managing supplies efficiently


• Assists with hazardous waste disposal and upholds environmental standards


• Attends meetings, collaborates with physicians, and addresses their concerns


• Participates in the development of radiography policies and supports regulatory surveys


• Conducts pre-op and follow-up calls

Skills :

• Proven experience with monitoring and maintaining inventory
