Description:A Registered Nurse in Interventional Radiology is responsible for managing conscious sedation with autonomy.Daily charting and circulation duties for interventional procedures are expected.The role involves pre and post-operative care for both inpatient and outpatient cases.Typical cases may include stroke thrombectomy, embolizations, biopsies, drain insertions, and more.There are two labs, and an average of 5-10 cases are performed each day.The Registered Nurse will work within a team that includes Interventional Radiologists and Radiology Technologists.The work schedule includes availability for on-call shifts and weekend requirements.Compliance with dress code and equipment usage is mandatory.A supportive team lead is present during every shift to facilitate operations.Additional floating between pre-operative and post-operative areas is required.Charting is conducted using an electronic medical record system.Candidates should be committed to patient care excellence in a fast-paced environment.
