Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Pueblo, CO is seeking a compassionate RN to provide high-quality clinical care for residents in a skilled nursing setting. You will support recovery, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and ensure personalized, dignified care.

The Director of Nursing will oversee this role, with a focus on resident well-being. The position offers a NOC shift 10p-6A on Sun, Mon, Tue and PRN, with pay rates of $38.00-$45.00 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• ADN required or BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• Prior RN experience in a nursing community preferred.
• Desire to care for residents and act with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical care to residents.
• Support residents in recovery and daily wellness.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for personalized care.
• Develop and monitor nursing care plans with physicians and therapists.
• Record administration of medications.
• Supervise assigned staff to ensure safety and compliance.

This position reports to the Director of Nursing.

JOB DUTIES

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care
• Collaborates with the resident, and members of the healthcare team
• Records the administration of medication
• Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility
• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies
• Performs other duties as directed

REQUIREMENTS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• An Associates Degree (ADN); Bachelor Degree (BSN) - Preferred
• An active RN license
• Prior experience as an RN in a nursing community - Preferred
• The desire to care for residents and act with integrity
• The ability to work flexible hours
